The Institute of Bio Research Auditing and Training in Southern Africa “IBRATSA” was founded in 2019 to enter the Quality Management Systems (QMS) space with the intention of providing independent QMS Auditing and Training courses that address the developmental needs of the country.

To make IBRATSA a global provider of QMS conformity assessments and related training in the Medical Technology (Med Tech) industry.

Commitment to POPIA Compliance
- IBRATSA is obliged to comply with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act (No. 4 of 2013) (“POPIA”), given that IBRATSA processes the personal information of its employees, Independent Contractors, committee members, applicants for certification, clients, and other stakeholders.
- IBRATSA may also be requested by third parties to provide information relating to its operations, its employees, its clients and stakeholders.
- IBRATSA confirms its commitment to protecting the privacy of all data subjects, as well as ensuring that their personal information is used appropriately, transparently, securely and in accordance with IBRATSA`s policies.
- IBRATSA has an appointed representative who is mandated to ensure compliance with all applicable laws relating to the protection of personal information, as well as access to information held by IBRATSA.
- IBRATSA has documented Procedure for Handling requests for information which is available on request from our authorised representative.
